Caddie Snacks brings together Nate Trimble’s two worlds: a career in brewing and his experience as a caddie.

A brewer by trade and the founder of Trimble Brewing Co., Nate found the inspiration for Caddie Snacks while caddying at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island. Time spent walking the course sparked an idea for a beer rooted in the game and the people who carry it.

Back home, Nate invested in a professional brewing system in his garage and spent two years developing the recipe. Caddie Snacks American Lager is the result: developed by Nate, inspired by his work as a caddie, and contract brewed at Holy City Brewing in Charleston, South Carolina.

From the garage to the fairways, it’s a story Nate has lived every step of the way.

The beer

Sweet bread and floral aromas meet a gentle malt character. A touch of sweetness up front gives way to mild hop bitterness and a crisp, clean finish.

Our purpose

It’s written on the can because it belongs at the heart of the brand.

Caddying helped inspire this beer. Nate wants its success to help create opportunities for other caddies, too. By Caddies Fore Caddies is the giveback program we’re developing with that goal in mind: supporting caddies as they pursue a college education.

The program is in development. We’ll share the beneficiary, donation details, and launch timing once arrangements are finalized.
